This melodious seductive number, with playback of the great Kishore 'da (aka Guru) & Lata ji, is from film-maker Shakti Samant saab's Rajesh Khanna (aka Kaka) & Zeenat Aman (aka Zeeny baby) starrer 1974 flick 'Ajnabee', with music that of the imitable Rahul Dev Burman (aka Pancham) & lyrics of Anand Bakshi saab. By the time of this movie, the glory days of Kaka were over, being usurped off his numero-uno position as that of the reigning superstar by the actor, dubbed as the 'Angry Young Man' -- the one and only Amitabh Bachchan (aka Big B). Shakti Samant saab, the director of this movie, started his career in film industry in early 50s and for the next quarter century made quite successful movies like 'Howrah Bridge', 'China Town', 'An Evening in Paris', 'Aaradhna' (this movie catapulted Rajesh Khanna to super stardom, the like of which India had never seen before), 'Amar Prem', 'The Great Gambler' etc. Shakti 'da was also the chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification (or Censore Board as it is commonly known as) for seven years.
